Well, at least for my kids anyway…. Didn’t really take a camera with me that much this summer when I had my kids at the beach. I wanted to spend more time with them and not so much behind the camera.. I do wish I would have taken more time to photograph them at the …

Hatteras Fisherman Project 2.0
Been spending a lot of time down in Hatteras Village as of late.
Just wanted to share some photos from the past week.
Trying to cover all sides of fishing.
Commercial and Charter.
I am learning a lot..
I still have an awful lot to learn.
I am really appreciative of people letting me invade their space.
Some of the pics are from going out with Bob McBride and Darrin McBride.
That was one of the coolest things I have witnessed in person..
I have known Bob for a long time and had no clue what it is like to pound net.
It was an eye opener for sure.
Enjoy.

Cape_Point
Cape Point finally opened up last week to human traffic.
I decided to walk out there since I am semi boycotting the permit to drive on the beach.
Probably gonna break down and buy one in the coming weeks.
I am not that much of a rebel..
Anyway.
It isn’t that bad of a walk, it only takes about 20 minutes or so.
Well worth the time, when you end up being the only one out there.
I am definitely going to make time to walk out there more often.
Enjoy.

Hatteras Fisherman Project
I wanted to show a few photos from a project that I am currently working on alongside with some folks down in Hatteras. It is funny/sad that I grew up 12 minutes from this and it is foreign to me. I wish I would have not taken this part of Hatteras Lifestyle for granted while …
Hatteras _Fishermen_ Project
I’m working on a project about Hatteras Fishermen. It’s something that I’ve been wanting to do for a while. Really thankful for the folks at the Albatross for letting me go out with them. This is a quick snapshot of the day. The rest of the photos will be available at a later date. If you are interested in being a part of this project let me know. All photos are provided for fishermen and clients at no charge and will be donated to the Day at the Docks as well as used in the September Issue of the Island Breeze.

I had the honor to be asked to set up a month long gallery showing in Manteo at the Dare County Art Council with good friend and photographer, Matt Lusk, in July. The set up was pretty cool… the art gallery is located in the former Manteo court-house and our show space was in what …
Scott and Abby
Scott and Abby were married in July at the beautiful Inn on the Pamlico Sound in Buxton. It was an amazing day. Some of my favorite details of the day were the hurricane themed tables, sunflower flower pots lining the aisle in the Inn’s crystal pavilion, custom etched glass seating chart, and of course, Abby’s beautiful dress! Here are a few pics from the day. Congratulations Scott & Abby!
