He is only 9 so the driving thing isn’t really in his favor yet……

I needed to stop and use the restroom…(TMI)…I know…

I also wanted to stop and take a few picks because there was some pretty cool lighting with all of the fog this morning.

I just snapped a handful of some spiderwebs and a few of the lighthouse..

Just wanted to share them.

I shot these with the Fuji X100s, still trying to get used to layout and functions.

I rode out with my family on Sunday..

I have gotten into a bad habit of just taking pics with my iPhone.

Nothing wrong with that but I have missed a lot of opportunities image wise.

Thankful that I made sure to have my camera with me on my morning surf check.

This wicked little front was pushing through right when I pulled into the parking lot.

Wish I could have gotten there a few minutes earlier…

I was semi scrambling trying to figure out how I wanted to shoot it.

It started out kind of creepy with the sun trying to peak through the fog.

I had so many spots that I wanted to shoot,

but just didn’t have enough time.

It was nice to see the sun finally come out this evening.

Sorry for that.

Took time away from everything to spend time with my family somewhere warm.

These photos, however aren’t of somewhere warm.

These were taken yesterday evening.

We took the dogs for a walk on the beach and we spotted this little guy/girl.

I ran back home and grabbed my camera.

Thankfully he was still hanging out when I returned.

He was a little banged up from something that got a hold of him/her in the water.

He kept coming up to us and rolling on his back to show us the damage.

Lou Browning came and checked him out and said he would be ok.

Sure was a photogenic little guy/girl.

On top of unreal weather we had fun waves too…

Until then, we have to ride a ferry to get in and out of Hatteras Island.

Not complaining, just stating fact.

It is about a 2 hour ferry ride.

It goes quick if you have some one to talk with.

I was able to hang out with some friends on the way over.

I was also able to go up and take pics of the ferry operators…

If you have never been to Stumpy Point…

It is beautiful, but absolutely out in the middle of no where…

Thank you to the ferry workers for getting us back and forth and for having to deal with us…

Thank you guys(NC Ferry Division) for housing me and feeding me when I had to wait for the next ferry back..
