This past week we had a fun engagement session with Brian & Melissa at Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head and Marshes Light in Manteo. They were up for anything fun, creative, and had lots of great ideas for shots. We could have been fighting against the clock towards the end of the shoot, as the sunset, but Daniel decided to use the light to our advantage, and we got some really nice night shots on the waterfront. We’re excited to work with Brian & Melissa in June for their wedding! Here are a few from the shoot.-k

One of the best things about an engagement shoot is getting to know the couple- their style- their personalities. We were really psyched to get to meet and work with Alli and Cary Meeting; after the shoot, on the way back to Hatteras, we commented that it was as fun as going out to dinner with friends. From the beginning their laughter, fun-loving attitude, and their relaxed style made our job impeccably enjoyable. We hope it shows in the photos! You’ll see Cary and Alli in another blog post in September as we shoot their wedding at the Village Beach Club in Nags Head.

Daily we thank God for the awesome people He puts in our path, and honestly feel like we have the best clients in the world!:) We met Shannon & Kevin a while back and immediately hit it off– lots of intertwining themes in our lives, similar personalities and creativity. We’re stoked that we are going to be shooting their wedding in Raleigh this November, and were blessed to be able to have WONDERFUL weather for their Outer Banks engagement shoot.
